rozsypana strona po instalacji

Witam wszystkich forumowiczów.

Rozpoczynam dopiero przygodę z joomlą i niestety na początku natknąłem się na, mam nadzieję, mały problem... Niestety nie udało mi się znaleźć rozwiązania.

Przeszedłem prawidłowo proces instalacji wybierając język polski, usunięcie pliku install.php i katalogu xxxinstal nic nie zmieniło.
Po wczytaniu localhost wysakuje mi "rozjechana" strona

Wyglada mi to na niepoprawna/niedokonczona konfiguracje Twojego srodowiska, w ktorym instalujesz. Ale jako ze nie jestem specem od PHP i MySQL pod windows XP - nie bardzo wiem jak Ci pomoc :(

:/ - joomla podała komunikat, że wszystko przebiegło pomyślnie... inne strony w apaczu i php chodzą poprawnie, baza w mysqlu powstala (ma 35 tabel) - może jakieś inne pomysły?

zainstaluj na Linuxie aka. zewnetrznym serwerze ; )

Przeinstalowałem jeszce raz.
W instalatorze był komunikat o braku możliwości zapisu w katalogu tymczasowym (podobno to nie problem - czy tak?)

po zakończeniu instalacji (wcisnąłem przycisk Admin) wyskakuje strona logowania - ale na jej górze jest coś takiego:
